Super dizzy

So I’m on day 9 of Keto. I’m having extreme dizziness. I’ve been staying within my macros and drinking 80+ oz of water a day. Taking mag, potassium, and drinking pink hym salt through out the day. I don’t know what else to do to get rid of the dizziness. But it’s almost so bad I can’t work. Any ideas?

Have you checked your blood pressure?

And over hydrating, wasting electrolytes.
Water is great when you’re thirsty. Drinking water just because…not logical.

If it’s that bad, go to the hospital, get checked.

I started getting really dizzy early on. Turned out my blood pressure was dropping to 95/60. My doctor cut way back on my BP meds, which I hope to be off soon.

I got dizzy when I would stand up. My nurse cut my BP meds in half.

Are drinking caffeine and/or alcohol? If so that could be the issue. Also, too much water can flush your electrolytes. I used to get random dizziness but it eventually went away when I stopped drinking coffee and got my electrolytes balanced.

I’m not on BP meds but I’ll check my BP asap. I upped my potassium and that’s seems to have helped a bit.

I had my blood sugar and blood pressure checked and both are normal. So I think it’s the electrolytes. Waiting for blood work to come back.

I don’t have a history of high BP, but since I’ve adopted fasting, I bought a inexpensive home BP kit. I have periodic episodes of lightheadness and running a BP is a quick way to test and eliminate that as the problem (vs electrolytes, dehydration, etc). I’ve learned that when it falls to 69/49 I need to sit down quickly :disappointed:
