The tl;dr (too long, didn’t read) is that what I think of as the “healthy” salt because it has minerals in it has higher levels of lead, arsenic, and/or aluminum, while the “unhealthy” salt because it had no minerals (kosher salt) had no lead, arsenic, and/or aluminum. The article goes into more detail, including salts like Maldon Sea Salt (which is nice because it’s got relatively large crystals).
