Eat to your hunger and let your body do the rest.

When you are fat adapted you can eat at a caloric deficit without ruining your matabolisem provided you don’t snack between meals. Your body can use energy or store it but it can’t do both at the same time. When you eat you put your self into storage mode until your insolin drops. If you are not fat adapted and eating at a deficit then you energy drops and matabolisem slows. Being fat adapted means your body will recognize body fat and use that rather than lowering energy consumption or slowing matabolisem. When your body knows you have body fat that can be used as energy your desire to eat goes down. So if you are fat adapted and overweight you won’t want to eat as much. For most people this means that if you eat until you are not hungry you will lose weight. That only works until you hit your bodie’s set weight. Then you have to lower your set weight by fasting.

Makes sense, but I’m to hungry to skip meals. I usually have coffee w/hwc 6am, breakfast around 10am, lunch 2-2:30. Coffee w/hwc 5:30pm. I dont usually have any snacks. Maybe I need to eat bigger meals?

Is that all you’re eating? Where’s the protein? Where’s the nutrition? Lose the coffees and eat real food.

No, lol my breakfast is 2-3 eggs with butter, and pepperoni or some other protein. Lunch is chicken or ground Turkey, 1/4-1/3 c cooked asparagus, or spinach or cauliflower, 1tbl kerrygold, 1 tbl coconut oil, 1 slice cheese, 1 tbl salad dressing.

I’ve been weighing, measuring, tracking my food for sooo many years, I don’t know how to ā€œNOTā€ do it and eat like a normal person. Guess I’m more messed up than I thought.
