Stokies... mea culpa and hello

Sorry I have been so MIA. COVID has greatly impacted my every day life, between school, work and societal issues. Sime of you may recall I am a therapist in grad school for my doctorate. Everything, between 2 jobs, internship and classes shofted to online delivery. And then clients were contending with getting sick or dealing with racial inequities and tensions. With social distancing and other limits on my resources, I shifted to working out at home and recommiting to endurance cycle training. I have maintained at 164 fortunately and increasing miles every week. I am biking about 100 to 150 miles solo each week. I am training for a charity ride for autism that is 100 miles long. Boston to Newport RI, if you can believe it. If anyone wants to sponsor me, feel free to message and I will send a link. I didn’t want to assume I could post directly so if an admin could let me know, please do.

I hope this finds you each ok and as healthy as possible. Seeing how those with metabolic issues get hit so hard has only made me more grateful for the timing of my own keto journey. Such a scary world at times. Thanks for always listening here.

Holy crap!!! My condolences to your butt :stuck_out_tongue:

I have been doing some biking this year and recently concluded that my a$$ is not able to go more than 2 hours. I’m up to 14 miles in 2 hours, which is amazing for me even on mostly flat ground. We have a lot of great trails along the rivers in this area.

I’m an addictions counselor, btw. One of my clients lost 6 family members, so I get a little annoyed when people claim this isn’t real. Nice to see you!

:cry::cry::cry:

That would be a lot to copy with, so far my family has faired well. But most of us are staying home and wearing masks if we do have to go out for supplies or walks.

Welcome back @Stokies. Happy trails.

It is so hard to manage at times how people just refuse to comprehend science…

As for my butt… it toughened up right quick as had an early start to the season here. March if you can believe it!

Thank you! Happy to be back, despite the state of the world… we got this, right?
