So imagine the surprise I felt when I received a pair of work pants I ordered 2 sizes smaller than current, as they were 50% off… I know my current pants are too big, and that 1 size down should fit me now, so surely by autumn, another size smaller is an attainable goal, n’est-ce pas?
Ah pardon my French moment - it slips in when I get excited… just for giggles, I wanted to know how much further I had to go to fit said goal pants… AND THEY SLID RIGHT ON. Not close, not tight - a perfect fit. ALREADY 
Life is more than a number on a scale! I have been hovering at a 5-pound flux of extreme annoyance, but am now down 3 full sizes. Body recomp - I’ll take it! 
Total loss as of now: 105 pounds, since July 2018.
