Man, so much. I had undiagnosed Glandular Fever, which I exacerbated by telling myself that it was just because I was lazy and “just keep working!” (At uni, doing it all wrong and having to study way harder than everyone else because of the ADHD and doing work experience stuff all over.) Turned that into Chronic Fatigue Syndrome as a result. #genius CFS really screws you over.
Still struggling with energy
Not sure how much advice I’d take from them, TBH. I’ve listened to a fair few of their podcasts (some I just skip because they’re ludicrous) and a super way to get them using/talking about stuff is to give it to them for free, then you get an episode on the podcast.
Not to look like I’ve drank the KetoConnect Koolaid, but they can’t please everyone. You’re an example of someone they can’t please. Both are self experimenters, and so I take what they say/do with a grain of salt. What works for them may not work for everyone.
Also, I don’t listen to their podcasts I only watch their Youtube channel. But, as someone who said they have a journalism background, I thought you’d realize how advertising/marketing works in this current digital age. Companies provide product to someone who is “popular” to have them talk about the product as free advertising. They’re quick to say what is trying to cash in on the “Keto Kraze” vs. stuff that is a legitimately good product.
They just had a video about people who make similar comments as yours. To think of them as something other than just a couple trying to makes ends meet like everyone else isn’t really fair.
Yeah, well, it’s exactly the connection between those two things that led to my post.
So, basically don’t take anyone’s advice?
That’s fine too. Do what works for you, not what others suggest. I agree.
Not at all, and I never suggested that in any way.
Take the advice of people with a demonstrated clue, not just because they have a lot of followers on YT, or say things you[1] like at times. Look for motive (i.e.“Let’s start a YT channel about this new fad diet that’s exploding!”)
[1] generic “you” being everyone/anyone
Let’s keep the discussion civil, or the topic will get locked.
Several posts flagged, and I agree that they’re not appropriate. Be kind to one another, please. Even if you feel like you’re being provoked.
