The statin part is alarming enough, but from further in the news story in regards to consumption of palm and coconut oil at approx 1m40s, “The advice that’s circulating inevitably puts up cholesterol levels and therefore increases the pressure on us to prescribe these [statin] drugs” - Assoc Professor David Sullivan, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital
I just sat there with my jaw on the ground. What an incredibly misleading story. Who comes up with this tripe?
