Starting Week 7

I completed Week 6 yesterday and am starting Week 7 today. My numbers:

  • Have lost 19.5 lbs
  • Blood sugar consistently under 120 no matter the time of day
  • Have reduced my insulin from 60 units to 25 units, and cut my glipizide dose in half
  • Blood pressure is consistently in the lower normal range
  • Have stopped taking one of my 3 BP meds.

I feel great and have a lot more energy compared to how I felt 7 weeks ago. I got through a lunch w/ friends, making good keto choices, and avoided the birthday dessert. Also, due to my increased energy and positive attitude, I had a great phone interview and have moved on to the final interview (upcoming Monday). Can’t wait!

@Ilana_Rose and @BeavertonGarry, Thank you! My sisters noted the change in my voice within the 1st couple of weeks. I didn’t think I sounded so flat pre-keto, but apparently I did, and per my sisters, I sound a lot more energetic and positive, the “old Ann”. Pretty amazing!
