I completed Week 6 yesterday and am starting Week 7 today. My numbers:
- Have lost 19.5 lbs
- Blood sugar consistently under 120 no matter the time of day
- Have reduced my insulin from 60 units to 25 units, and cut my glipizide dose in half
- Blood pressure is consistently in the lower normal range
- Have stopped taking one of my 3 BP meds.
I feel great and have a lot more energy compared to how I felt 7 weeks ago. I got through a lunch w/ friends, making good keto choices, and avoided the birthday dessert. Also, due to my increased energy and positive attitude, I had a great phone interview and have moved on to the final interview (upcoming Monday). Can’t wait!
