Started it 3 months ago. Used about 40 beans per qt jar. Did two jars. (Half gallon of double strength vanilla ! Whoo hoo 
)
So finally, yesterday, I poured a 4 oz bottle. And after reading that a little sweetening will take off the alcohol taste (hate alcohol taste) I used about 10 drops of Sucralose, and OMG !
Now, I’m kind of a vanilla freak anyway. I even like store bought stuff… Like McCormick’s… But this stuff really is on a different level !
To be honest, with the cost of beans, extracting our own Vanilla is not much of a savings. It’s just crazy expensive either way. But SOOO darn good !
