Starbucks struggle

(John) #21

I haven’t had to change much in my Starbucks approach, other than skipping the sweets and baked goods.

I like coffee strong and black, so I usually just go for the Americano, which is espresso diluted with hot water. That’s what I drank before keto so no changes.

If I lived in some trendy place where I had lots of coffee choices I might go elsewhere for my drive-through coffee but I am in the backwaters of “flyover country” so I take what I can get.

Food in general often fits this rule.

DD is like 5 seconds away. i like to get the coffee black, run home and use my own measured amount of cream. I’m not sorry I love their coffee

We can get really good coffee at McDonalds here & I’d certainly never apologise for drinking it :slightly_smiling_face:

Not a coffee drinker, but when I do go with friends I order a London Fog with sugar free vanilla.

Security by obscurity? You won’t be tempted if they misspell the name?

(Mike W.) #27

What is a London Fog?

(Julie ) #28
  • Earl grey tea semi dry misto
  • 2 pumps of vanilla syrup (Ask for the Sugar Free).

I normally get it with English Breakfast Tea.

Interesting. Thank you

I bought Starbucks Holiday Blend for my husband and it smelled so good I tasted it. I only drink decaf, and I have a good Mexican decaf. I like the Starbucks holiday blend so much that I started adding a little bit to my decaf. I wanted to buy another bag of it and can’t find any, all sold out.

I thought I knew what good coffee was until i tried fresh kona coffee on the big island. Starbucks doesn’t hold a candle to it

You are welcome.
