I started keto diet on Dec 16, 2017. I’ve lost 22 pounds but the last month I have lost the same 3 pounds. Lost then gained, lost then gained. I still have 10-15 pounds I would like to lose. I have done some IF, thought maybe a longer fast would help break my stall. Never done this before, going to see how it goes. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Natalie, the same thing happened to me. Remember there is also internal healing going on and changes happening. Be patient. I have now started losing again. Slowly… but losing.
Please list out everything you have consumed over the past three days.
Maybe we’ll see something and have some ideas.
I don’t think your question is for me @nmh I don’t have an opinion or experience with fasting, other than intermittent, 15/9 everyday, overnight. That seems to fit with my eating schedule.
Just stay with IF, that’s kind of what I have been doing sometimes. Don’t do a 2 day fast?
Pete thanks for asking. It seems that this is my pattern but the dance is becoming faster. Dance around with a couple of pounds for a week or two then the drop happens.
I have read the same thing, suppose to up fats says one person and another decrease fats because your body doesn’t need them. I’d like to find the correct answer also, but I bet it is different for everyone.

My observations would lead to the recommendation of simplification toward more natural ingredients that do not contain artificial sweeteners.

First thing to do is define if it is a true stall or better yet are you doing 100% of what you should be in order to get healthy/lose weight? if so then it may be a stall… good write up here I found useful:
