Sorry Stephanie

This message is for Stephanie Keto Person and those who follow her. I find her very energetic, I love her abs and after losing 25 KGS in the last nine months and I don’t have her abs.
Let me give you my measurements: I’m 23, 5’2.5, my mid belly is 26-27 inches, my lower belly is 27-29 inches. I weight between 46-48 KGS.
I have seen that if I eat too much fat, I feel unwell. As long as I’m consuming fat in my cooked food, it’s alright. But I can’t go on having 50 gms of butter straight out of the pack. And if I do I gain weight.
I’ve tried her no intermittent fasting, no coffee nuts and cheese and 200 gms of fat method yesterday because I’m desperate to go down to 42 as I was before the holidays. And it left me horribly unwell. She also says that anything but her way is not keto. I’m sorry Stephanie. I tried, but your keto way didn’t work for me.

That’s why I stopped following her, too much of a “my way or the highway” attitude which is not good.

I know… She’s kind of stubborn.

Hey…I’ve been meaning to ask to ask something: how often do you work out? Do you lead a very active life? I’m a student, and my “activity” involved walking or cycling to the university which is very close by.

I have an office job so spend more time than I’d like sitting down, but I walk my dog for a couple of miles before work every day (longer walks at weekends), walk 3.5 miles on my lunch breaks, lift weights 4 or 5 days a week, do yoga (between 15 & 60 mins depending on time available) daily, and rebounding (mini-trampoline) most days for around 15 to 30 mins, with the occasional bike ride when time allows.

You have to remember that losing enough body fat that your abdominal muscles show is not your body optimizing for survival … you need to push against your body very hard to get it to do that. Something I have never felt the need to attempt, so I am talking from a position of inexperience.

Unless Stephanie has some very unusual genetics, she is highly unlikely to be keeping calm and ketoing on. More than likely she is cycling through rounds of cutting through caloric restriction, driving fluid into her muscles with carbs, filming, and then going keto again to rebuild. What she does and what she tells you she does may be 2 totally different things.

That’s it, @richard, we need to keep shining a spotlight on this dark corner of the fitness world.

I have read in several places that Stephanie was always very active and slim (and hyper) even before keto and this has to have a bearing on things.

I had never heard of her. I made it 2:00 minutes and had to turn her off. It was pure mis-information and conspiracy bullshit.

“How do you know you are in ketosis? Are you using a Glucometer?” really WTF…she could not be more wrong.

“One antibiotic IN YOUR LIFE and you are doomed.”

“Don’t eat nuts eat food” LOL

The fact that she lives such a miserable life to have abs is sad…whatever works I guess but I will take a pass.

hi all! Yes… she has always been skinny. And did not lose tons of weight like I and many other did. I feel so ashamed for not being much active. I just walk around 6-8 kilometers 5-6 days a week and do a little hiit from time to time. And Matt, I second you. I give up. I cannot live like that. If that means an eternal bond with my belly and pooch, so be it. I cannot be miserable, not eat more than 20 gm of protein (What will I eat then?) and have an awesome body by eating 200 gms of butter. I felt like vomiting after having 70 gms of butter yesterday. clearly, my body doesn’t like it.

Wow, you are skinny no? Why are you trying to lose weight? I am your height, and I weigh 44kg. My belly is 27/28 inches and I am trying to gain, and at least maintain.

By 42kgs, are you feeling better?

Well there is the best quote I’ve read today
