Soda makers

Key point, this is what I saw. A Lowering of my glucose, which is an Insulin hit.
And this is what crushed my ketones. Now it took a 60-90 minutes to see the ketones dry up!

Good news, this appears to be changing. If I am deep in ketosis, and FASTING, I can tolerate some coke zero. But I have been on this journey since July 2018. So my metabolism is a lot better than it was. Since I don’t do sweets, and I fast a lot more (A lot of Alternate Day Fasting). I see the protection. My carb tolerance is higher than 5g as well… I also add exercise (Walked 10 miles today).

But THAT is EXACTLY why YOU should measure YOU… YMMV… LOL Every Body Is Different!
And even My body over time has changed to become more flexible.

Tracy, knowing what causes you to respond in different ways is CRITICAL.
I’ve noticed that the naturally thin people in my life all “feel” their way around foods/desserts/etc.

People are surprised by this. that we can all respond differently to similar foods.
I am reminded of one of the TeD talks where they used CGMs. On some people, Ice Cream made very little impact, but RICE was a huge glycemic load. And others Rice had little impact, but Ice Cream had a huge glycemic load. Bam… It’s about how YOUR BODY responds to what you eat.

That’s why diets fail for so many people, myself included! Once I learned to listen to my body, and eliminate more deeply, things got easier.
