Brenda Zorn, where did you get those cute molds you used for those chocolates you made the other day? Thanks!
Silicon molds
I’v found some at dollar tree for $1 a piece, I know I’ve seen them at Walmart and Target
The ones she had were really cute and I can’t find similar ones on Amazon.
silicone molds are a must !! (for broth cubes and fat bombs) just keep an eye out for them, they are around…I got mine at Daiso ( here on the west coast) it’s like a Japanese dollar store…online you need to buy in bulk but you could split them with someone (i have 5 or 6) …and sometimes wish i had a a few extra http://www.daisojapan.com/p-21824-silicone-ice-tray-star-12pks.aspx http://www.daisojapan.com/p-21824-silicone-ice-tray-star-12pks.aspx
Does anyone else think their fat bombs taste “plastic-y” when made in the silicone molds? I’ve tried a couple of different silicone molds and 2 of us couldn’t handle the plastic taste, but 2 other family members thought it was fine. Weird.
Ebay!!! just got 6 (15 per tray) in various cute shapes for €8.00 delivered …

I found my silicone mold at Michael’s Crafts. It’s a store in Minnesota. Maybe they sell online?
next time i’m at Michael’s I’ll have to see what they have…thanks for the tip !!!
I have found cute molds at craft stores like Hobby Lobby and at Walmart.
Not all silicone is the same. Some manufacturers have more impurities in there product and that may be what you are tasting. Try a soak in vinegar and water for 24hrs and see if that helps.
I just use my tsp scoop from pampered chef. I put them onto wax paper and freeze. I only use molds IF I make a 2-step process.
