Shopping at local farm

Hey had a good day today, went to a non-gmo grass-fed farm today.

The store front through me for a loop though… No one manned the store. It’s on the honor system, you add up the prices on a calculator and have to have exact change. Drop it in their slot. They have a receipt book there for you as well. I was like wow that is trusting.

Didn’t buy much first time there.
4 dozen eggs
4 pounds grass fed beef
1 ham roast

Glad to have found them though.

Next Thursday I pick up my first order from a local rancher. I order 5 whole chickens, 4 doz. eggs and a half of a pig. The pig won’t be ready for a couple weeks. This is the first time I’ve ordered meat this way; I am looking forward to stocking up on grass fed, local meat.
