Sending a message

I want to send a member of these forums a private message. If I left click on their name and see a purple rectangular box with the word message on it, and click that, will what I type go to that person as a private message?

You can also click on your avatar and then on the message icon at the top of the drop-down menu. Then click on the New Message button. Doing it that way allows you to specify one or more members (type an at sign @ and then the first few letters of the member’s name, then select the name from the drop-down menu).

Should you need to send a message to the admin staff, then enter the user name @ forum_admin (leaving out the space after the at sign).
