Scale won’t budge? What I discovered

I have been doing Ketos since Jan of this year had 15 stubborn lbs to my goal…First 10 lbs fell off quickly keeping my carbs down to 20… last 5 lbs not so, been struggling for the past 4 months, scale moving up than down…
I tried bacon challenge, I tried intermittent fasting only eating once a day, I also did water coffee fast thought I would pass out needed something to eat…
On Sunday this past week I purchased organic bone broth at health food and followed the recommendations on the back of the package on fasting… for two days I had just bone broth anytime I felt hungry or black coffee… my scale was finally moving however my keto blood levels were staying at 1.6 even dropped the second morning…On Tuesday I was really needing more of something, added butter to my coffee and bone broth and Wow…I felt better keto levels good 3.5, scale moving nicely…
Today tested my blood level registered HI… I have never seen that since I been on keto…
Coffee, water, bone broth with butter, berry tea with butter added a tablespoon of cream in tea yesterday… what a treat …
I am going to make my goal !,
Thought I would share…:slightly_smiling_face:

A recipe to share… yum
Tastes like Starbucks .
Berry tea by Yogi I usually do 2 bags to one cup water…
1 cup of hot tea
1 heaping Tbsp butter
1 Tbsp heavy whipping cream

Throw in a blender or magic bullet till foamy, few seconds … yum yum
Keto On !!

Glad you found something that works for you.

On another note, the best way I found to make the scale move is to pick it up and move it into the garbage, lol. Go by measurement because eating keto and fasting works on body recomposition so although you may not be losing “weight” and maybe even gaining, you could be adding more muscle, which takes up less space on your body.

Yes you are probably right … however my measurements weren’t changing much either by my pant size … :no_mouth:
Muscle? my skin is so flabby I need to start walking or gym again …
