I’ve been listening to Always Hungry by Dr David Ludwig. He seems to support LCHF/Keto except doesn’t agree with eating saturated fat or thinks it causes increased inflammation - am I reading it correctly?

so a plate of bacon? awesome
for breakfast,lunch,din din? why not
lets fry it in butter and drink all drippings in a mason jar? hold on there buddy
lets serve it on a bed of pork rinds ,and fry up some chicken skins as a garnish? God bless your cholesterol

In scientific studies, there’s no association between eating sat fat and mortality, hence it can’t possibly be a cause of mortality.

I don’t know. Dr. Ludwig is usually pretty data-driven, but I can’t think of any mechanism by which saturated fat could cause inflammation. Does he give references to any studies?
