Still struggling with electrolytes. I understand one should hit sodium between 3-5 gms. However, is this including sodium you get from food, or is it just the salt one adds to foods and drinks?

Not an expert but I think it’s in addition to. I always add about three teaspoons a day to my diet to help stave off cramps and it seems to work.

I use Lite Salt from Morton, 1/4 teaspoon twice a day. It has both sodium and potassium. So far no cramps.

When you say still struggling, do you mean struggling to hit the recommended numbers based on tracking your intake, or actually struggling physically with cramps, headaches, eye twitches, etc?

No, I am okay taking in recommended numbers of mag, pot and sod, 400:1100:4000 however, I am getting night cramps and also palpitations (on and off). What am I not doing right?
