I’m new to this forum 5 weeks of ketogenic eating. I’m a runner and have a half marathon this weekend. Training has been pretty terrible, and I’m expecting this race to be a bust since I’m still adapting to keto. However, is there anything I can eat the day before or the morning of to help me get through this? My energy levels have been awful on my training runs. Any input appreciate on how to help fuel a long run…

That could be a tough run. Definitely take some electrolytes and bring along a salt package to eat if you find yourself tanking. I’d probably bring nuts too. (Not an expert but a fellow runner who struggled before fat adaptation).
