I have had my genes done, with the National Geography genome project, later by both FamilyTreeDNA and AncestryDNA. I already had the AncestryDNA in raw text so I just went and uploaded to Promethease, $5US, took less than 20 mins. to get the results.

This is a whole new rabbit hole. I have already figured out a few things, but I might look for a genetics counselor to help me sort through some of this stuff. I have one gene that protects me from alcoholism, another that increases risk of it. I guess I will become a regular on www.reddit.com/r/SNPedia now.

Richard, what have you done to us NOW??? LOL.
