Well I have tried some commercial “keto” granola and a few recipes. Well I tried https://sugarfreelondoner.com/low-carb-granola-keto-sugar-free/?utm_source=pushengage&utm_medium=pushnotification&utm_campaign=pushengage
and am very pleased. You can see by the ingredient list
- 1 cup / 150g whole almonds
- 1 cup / 100g walnut halves
- 1 cup / 100g pecans
- 1/2 cup / 65g pumpkin seeds
- 1/2 cup / 65g sunflower seeds
- 1/3 cup / 40g [flaxseed] milled
- 1/3 cup / 30g [whey protein powder] unflavoured
- 1 1/2 cup / 90g [coconut flakes/chips] unsweetened
- 1/3 cup / 80 g [smooth almond butter]* 1/3 cup / 80 ml water
- 4 tbsp [freeze dried raspberries]
- 2 tbsp [granulated sweetener]
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
that there really isn’t anything in there with much carbs, They represent 3.7 net carbs (there is a lot of fiber) per 1/3rd cup serving. I find that 1/3rd cup is too small and eat ½+ cup servings but even at 6 carbs it is a reasonable serving. I eat it with almond milk.
I will be making this stuff again
