Restarting Keto after 6 months, HELP!

I was forced to stop Keto bc of low blood sugar issues. But I’m stabilized now and learned many lessons. I was peering through a notebook that displayed the many euphoric like benefits of Keto. Those plusses were 25 pages. The minuses were 1 page. I want to get back! I was on it for 2 yrs. I’ll stay away from cardio while adapting. I have my electrolytes, XCT oil and coconut oil ready to go. Q: HOW long will/ could it take me to re adapt please? Thanks kindly in advance!

It’s not an all or nothing thing. In my case my energy returned after about 2 weeks, my muscles were fully fat adapted at about 6 weeks, but the euphoric feeling started closer to six months in. Also, the frequency of my sensations of hunger continued to diminish for an entire year.

Really? I’m kinda new but that surprises me because I thought keto stabilizes insulin, and after 2 years I would think that would have not been an issue after half a year.

Are you diabetic at all?

It took me about three months to fully adapt to where I had good energy on my runs. I just kept on going until one day I realized “hey, I feel good”

It might’ve been the nitro brew coffee. I heard too much caffeine can drastically lower blood sugar- like to dangerous levels. And no I’m not diabetic.

That damn coffee. But I love it so </3

Just curious – why low blood sugar would be an issue if sugars are no longer the primary source of energy?

Having a diet plan and plenty of recipe ideas to hand is priceless when it comes to keto.
