Ah Snackwell’s, the 100 calorie pack craze. My wife got a box of nuts that are 100 calorie packs, they have walnuts, pecans and almonds so it is like 7 nuts.

(John) #24

I had that happen…to a friend I mean…

(Jo Lo) #25

I was guilty of most of these…

I was so fat phobic that I put fried hamburger in a sieve and washed it under tap water to get all the fat out. Funny how it didn’t help me to lose weight…

(Mike W.) #26

I do still love a good turkey burg to change things up. Dark meat, obviously.

(Alex Dipego) #27

Cinnamon Raisen Bagel with peanut butter on both sides, fried egg and bacon in between…

i think that’s a completely different thread :joy:

i was remembering low fat diet “tactics” :joy:

(Alex Dipego) #29

:joy::joy::joy: i was remembering childhood delights

i can confirm that a fried egg and peanut butter sandwich does not suck…
i nominate you to come up with a keto version…and grilled pb&j while you’re at it

(Kylie Woodruff) #31

OMG yes - with full sugar peanut butter lol

(Dawn) #32

yes

(Jessica) #33

I’m impressed. That determination!
But this again shows how utterly wrong low fat dieting is.

Well I’m in good company. In one video Prof Tim Noakes says that back in the high-carb Hey Day, he considered it a good day if he didn’t eat any dietary fat. Of course, that didn’t turn out very well for his health. (T2D.:anguished:) and now he’s a huge leader of the LCHF movement.
