Hey have been loosing weight and inches, my question is I never have been in ketosis? Don’t have a clue why I do not register on strips! Cholesterol is down 20 points and trigriciliods down 50 points blood sugar down 10 points all in two months after starting! I am 3 months into it now and have finally hit the 230s from the 260s! I have always been a weight lifter and walk 15+ miles per week! Now I know people will say it don’t matter about those strips if your having results but what if I was in ketosis and actually registering on that’s strips? Would I peel weight off more rapidly? Frustrating that I cannot register on these strips! Any input would be appreciated! Thanks Jim!

Wow. It sounds like you are doing just great. Congratulations. Yes, everyone says forget the strips but I think people need just a little encouragement. I am three weeks today. I only registered more than a trace amount twice in the last two days, usually at night. But I have lost five pounds so am pleased with the progress. From what you describe you might already be fat adapted and so not wasting any ketones in your urine. I am obviously not at that point sobtrying to add more fat so that I stay in Ketosis rather than going in and out.
