Recommendations for tele keto provider

(Sue) #1

Hello all!
I am asking for input/recommendations for keto providers. I realize I may have to do this long distance, tele medicine, but that is not a problem for me. I want to work with someone who can look at my labs, advise and offer support. I know there are several providers out there with great reputations but am at a loss as to where to start. I have an HMO (Kaiser) but no keto support there. However my doctor will order most needed labs if I request, at least she will work with me somewhat.
Just would like to know what has worked for others.

Thanks so much,
Sue

It depends on what you mean. Are you just looking for a KETO friendly physician or a doctor who’s a KETO expert? I live in Santa Cruz and have a keto supportive doctor who’s fairly knowledgeable but not one of the KETO experts. And I don’t really need to ask him for guidance or tips because I get that here.

@Screenack Dr. Westman does online support, am I correct?

I’m sure there are others too but I have been lucky enough to find a local doctor.

Dr. Ken Berry is an online keto dr. Carl who is in CT, uses him.

Sadly no. I see him, or did (I’m done! Weee!) at his practice office. However, as @collaroygal says, Dr Berry is no slacker in this realm.
