Re-entry Test

Just spent a week travelling with wife & mom in-law. Finally gave in to the constant bread and sweets travel diet. Yes, I knew how it would affect me. Yes, I enjoyed the flavors. YES, I felt bloated, sleepy, crapped like crazy, and HUNGRY every hour as the carb-glycogen carlorie roller coaster burned through my system.
Now comes the keto re-entry and MAN I can’t wait to get back into a PROVEN healthy nutritional lifestyle.
Began today with 16 hours of fasting and a starter small portion keto-proportion meal plan.
More to follow.

Welcome back to your better self. The good news is you know the way, you know you can do it, and you have already hit the reset button.
You got this.

If it means the nice fatty protein didn’t overpower these… It sounds bad. Even my high-carber SO with a huge sweet tooth would feel miserable on such a diet!

Of course keto can be made in a very unhealthy way too, it’s not all about carbs. But it surely helps a lot to do things right - if we are ones who don’t need much carbs, possibly in the contrary. Keto doesn’t suit everyone.
Some of us need some tweaking, my original keto wasn’t really better than my previous (still low-carb) woe, it just gave me fat adaptation and nice new keto habits  And fun recipes I could have used before but didn’t know about them.

Yep…I get that! We returned Sunday from a Mexico vacation and although I didn’t go off the rails, I still had a few things I normally don’t have. I dusted myself off and back to normal I go!!
