So, I am trying to get back into my lifting routine for the past few months. It can be challenging as we all know! I decided it was time to push my shoulder presses back up into my ‘normal’ range… so I jumped from my 20lb dumb bells @ 10 reps that I used as my intro back into this for the last few work outs and straight up to my 40lb dumb bells.
I sat down on the bench, then just hoisted them up into position to start my reps… and I nearly rolled of the bench backwards!
I guess my form was dependent on my forward facing center of mass more than I had known. After a bit of a laugh, I cranked out 3 sets of 5 reps…
TLDR; I lost belly fat and apparently my form & balance are hilariously off during some lifts!
