I have been Keto for six months and content that all is well and good with this way of life.
Lost weight and now 63.5kg, body fat down to 29% for a 49 yr old female at 5’6”. I am pleased with my progress.
Protein wise I understand that should eat 0.5-1g per kg of body weight. I have been aiming for a weight of 58-60kg. So therefore kept my protein to 60g protein (more of less).
Recently I have read on this forum that I should be calculating that on lean body. Does that mean
60kg minus 29% (my current fat %). That would be about 40g protein?
Thoughts anyone? I am hoping to shift the last few kgs.

40g a day sounds like a recipe for frailty later in life. That’s like 5oz of chicken breast.

Thank you for the link Pete A.
Much appreciated as I agree with Dread, such a small portion of chicken is going to be minuscule.
