So do you eat much red meat or stick to poltury and fish?
Protein/Fat
I eat all three. To me, it seems like it would be very boring to eat all of the same thing all of the time. But that’s just me. I like variety. And there is something inside of me that says that variety is good. There might be things I’d get in red meat that I wouldn’t get so much of in poultry. And there might be things in fish that I might not get so much of in red meat. Etc.
My meats vary. My veggies vary. And I really just don’t worry much about the fat and protein macros. Carbs are more important and I do pay more attention to keeping those at a level that works for me (which is often, but certainly not always, higher than 20g).
I’m sure everyone has their own answer to what’s best for them. I don’t disagree. But since you asked me, I’m just sharing me.
Good luck!
I like your variety philosophy and it’s my way too. Don’t want to start getting bored eating keto food. I keep it simple most of the time but enjoy the occasional keto pizza, lasagna or such. But usually it’s meat and vegetables straight up but with lots of variety.
What you’ve shared definately makes sense and I like variety as well. Lots of cool recipes on Pinterest I’ve collected and tried. Thank you for your “two cents worth” lol, valuable info there!
Once a “diet” gets boring, I stop. This to me is NOT a diet, but a new way of living and I’m totally digging it!! Plus I’m not drinking alcohol at all…and that’s a good thing. I feel so much better these days!
Well, it’s a toxin.
It has benefits for a lot of people, but it’s still a toxin
