Protein and fat

I was reading that not to loose muscle i need to eat 1.5 X body weight of protein. Is that the overweight body weight or ideal body weight. I’m at 170gm P. now, I’m have muscle and i think i look pretty fit. So I’ve been told. I’m at %2, %28, %70, C,P,C… i weigh 245 and eating that much protein would be very difficult and be way to Many calories. I’m eating about 2500 to 3000 an day now. I figured by keeping my fat high i can spare muscle loss.
Any thoughts. I’m a pig but even i can not eat that much. Lol

More like 0.7g - 1.5g per Kg of Lean body weight, not total weight.

Thank God, i could not imagine that, even when i was competing. Thanks for that info. I feel better now.
