Potato or no potato?

Yeah love that sour cream! I’ve also had them with cottage cheese growing up, you know the whole low fat thing? And I like them way way as well.

I totally agree that one should not experiment with binge material foods. But one can gauge their own reaction to a food. I think I eat one off plan item once a week because I am trying to get more calories in. I had a small bowl of rice today with meat and vegetables and I felt satisfied and was able extend the time between meals.

But then again, I am at maintenance and not diabetic, so feel free to ignore me. I average around 60 carbs on off plan days and under 20 strict keto.

I do about the same - maybe once a week have a day of around 50 carbs and the rest of the time under 20 - and I am also in maintenance mode.

I think it is important for others to read this and not feel like keto is a life sentence against ever enjoying moderate carbs on occasion. For some that may be true, depending on their relationship with food and prior health issues.

But I never binged on food and was never diabetic. I was headed down to road to diabetes and needed to lose 35 lbs so am so thankful I found keto because I think it is a healthy way to eat.

Sour cream delivery? I have pork rinds with homemade sour cream & onion dip. What a lovely easy meal. You could even put bacon in the dip (although I haven’t yet).

You’re making me crave guac and pork rinds!

I am as well. I’m usually pretty strict but do go off plan from time to time.
I am also not really wanting to lose anymore weight.
But neither do I wish to make a habit of eating unhealthy junk I don’t need.
