So I have heard / read, that one of the things that “might be best” for a person on a keto diet to supplement with, is Potassium (vit K) I figured that would be easy. In fact, I had been taking a supplement called Magnesium Potassium Aspartate, and I “assumed” that would give me 100% of my recommended daily allowance of vit K. Ha ! Not even close ! Instead, only 4% So I started looking around, and nearly all of the Potassium supplements I saw, were anywhere from 2 to 6% of the daily recommended allowance. That sounds pretty lame
So what the deal on vit K supplements ? Is there anyway to take at least 80%… maybe 100% of the daily total, affordably ? Could this help ? Is it not recommended ?
I vaguely recall Matt from Keto Connect, talking about taking a powder form of vit K, and saying that this was a doable way of guaranteeing his daily Potassium levels… Hmmm.
Your knowledge on vit K please.
