If this is the direction we’re going in, your insurance company will have a financial interest in you staying on medication.

Not good

Very disturbing indeed, in a time when pharmaceuticals are being prescribed opportunistically, without proven studies of safety both short-term and long-term, and with record numbers of children on psychotropics (as well as the current digital media pushing of puberty blockers, cross-hormones, and other questionable & highly profitable interventions for unhappy youths that are making them lifetime customers of pharma companies). Recent unholy alliances of drug companies with the insurance industry in America, and the rewriting of diagnostic codes to justify new profitable cures & management prescriptions throughout privatized medicine is opposed to both biology and human rights, as far as I can tell.

On the :sunny: BRIGHT SIDE :sunny: however: the billionaire whose company Insys Therapeutics developed the opioid painkiller fentanyl liquid version (extreme opioid) and was pushing it to American doctors as if it is a normal painkiller - along with funding anti-herbal medicine initiatives - was arrested in Phoenix on Thursday on racketeering and drug industry conspiracy charges.

And on an even :sunny: :sunny: BRIGHTER SIDE :sunny::sunny:: VirtaHealth, a LCHF/keto medical dietary healing coaching & case management startup founded in 2015 by Dr. Stephen Phinney and Jeff Volek PhD along with world-class endurance LCHF athlete & entrepreneur Sami Inkeninen has rapidly grown and it’s mission is to turnaround diabetes & obesity in America - which involves of course massive reductions or total eliminations of prescriptions! Quite an American disruption! With all the case studies documentation they are collating, it is going to provide a massive incentive for public health access to this kind of medical care.

btw Phinney and Inkinen and his wife Meredith Loring are featured in the fabulous documentary Cereal Killers: Run On Fat, where Sami & Meredith’s LCHF lifestyle fuels them to successfully break the world record on rowing from California to Hawaii - highly recommend it and the good work of Virta Health in the face of insane “healthcare” profiteering as well as lack of access to actual healthcare.
