Hello so Im getting my first blood test soon,I do keto because I happen too cocentrate better while on it,run better fat fueled, and the health and mental benifits. Now my doc doesnt know at all im doing this diet, that being said im trying too build muscle mass on this diet so I dont count calories and eat till im satiated cause im still a growing young man (hoping to grow taller).

Now this being said here are my questions>

I have a bad feeling my cholesterol is gonna look a bit different if you know what I mean, I eat alot of fatty meat, dairy, olive oil, coco nut milk fat, you name it and leafy greens,
In the case that I want to prevent bad cholesterol readings?

should I up my daily 5 mile training session to 6 or 7 if that by any chance can reduce my cholesterol?

and what meal should I eat the night before and or the morning of my blood test?

should I take my “one a day” the same morning of the blood test?

just simply what is the best thing I can do too have average healthy boy blood readings?

I really dont think he will care about the ketone readings as people my age especially runners with high metabolisms can enter ketosis in a matter of hours.

Morning, as long as it is not a fasting lab?

Your Cholesterol could look a bit different but I would not worry about it[1]!

Here is what I plan on doing for just a week prior to blood test " is eat leaner meats but sub the animal fat for plenty of olive oil and avacado oil, also up my veggie intake too get plenty of vitamins too appear in the blood and more then that of my reguler meal of fatty marbled steak or chicken wings and spinach and ranch dressing.

once blood is over with go back too my comfy pork rinds and wings.
what do you think of my plan?

Check out Dave Feldman’s research. Eat a lot of fat for 3 days before the test, then fast overnight, it will lower cholesterol.

. . . or just do what i just did… rescheduled my January physical for July. I figure by then my numbers will be in a good range. I told my doc I’m going to be traveling a lot over the next few months and the next opening she had for a physical was in July. Works for me!
