I have been living the Keto way strictly for about 6 weeks now but no matter what I did the highest reading I would get on the blood ketone meter was .4 and my weight was hovering at about the same. Over the last week I noticed my weight had gone down a couple of Kg so I checked my ketone level and it was 1.1. I am so happy I persisted (which was mainly because of how well I felt and all the yummy food) and now I am cheering it is all starting to happen!!! What happens for most people in the first couple of weeks took this long to happen for me. So for other newbies, forget weight loss and focus on the health benefits and eventually the weight will start to come off.
