INTERESTING!! The community found the post below as SPAM or commercial. The app is totally free as I stated and I find it very useful. Go ahead, flag it again, this forum is useless to me anyway. I was just trying to be helpful to the members.!

We have been keto for about 6 months and I have hit my target weight and feel great (71 year old cancer survivor [6 feet, 152lbs]). I am in it for health. Key point to keep in mind: keto for health, not weight loss. The latter is a side effect of tuning your body into a more healthy machine. Another is increased cognition and clarity of mind from feeding your brain ketones rather than sugar.
Being retired and on fixed income, I need to conserve, so we decided to not waste money on all the keto products or on software or apps. I like the Diet Doctor site, but must subscribe to get their meal planner.
Enter Pepperplate (http://www.pepperplate.com/). I tend to like to work from a browser rather than the app itself as it seems to work a little better. The program can be a bit of a problem on certain devices and with poor internet. However, mostly it is really great. I do not use this forum, but was interested to see that Pepperplate was not mentioned when I performed a search. So I decided to post to alert the folks here about this great free program.
It allows:
Importing or creating recipes (be sure to load the recipe Pepperplate Bookmarklet for ease of entering!!)
Creating weekly planning in calendar format.
Creating customized shopping lists that extract the ingredients from recipes. Fully editable and can place items by type or the store you will be shopping at.
Allows photos/pix for your recipes.
Updates all information and recipes from browser to app, across all devices.
Recipes are fully scaleable; can scale by presets or any decimal percentage. Flexible and convenient!!
Works for us!
