PCOS and struggling to lose weight

#1

I would LOVE to really get some help. I’ve been doing Keto for 6 weeks. The scale isn’t moving but I’m down 3 inches all over my body. I have not cheated once and only had what I thought after an online search Chipotle but I didn’t have chips, beans, salsa, or rice. I had a lettuce bowl and that was only because I had been out all day and realized I forgot to take my chicken out. Should I purchase some MCT oil powder. I drink bullet coffee 3x/week. I eat bacon, eggs, cheese, chicken from the Nuwave, cauliflower rice. A 1/2 cup fat bomb of heavy whipping cream/sugar free jello. I’m feeling stressed because I’m trying and not seeing the results I thought I would like so many of the success stories online. I got 60lbs to lose. I was doing good in the beginning and then all of a sudden it’s like it’s not working the last three weeks because I’m hungry and I’m still sticking with it. I’m 5’2 and 215lbs. Help Please!!! Thank you in advance!!

KCKO. You are doing great! PCOS consists of pretty intense metabolic derangement. Remember that correcting this is the primary reason to keto. The weight loss will come with time. Try to limit artificial sweeteners if you can, as they may provoke an insulin response.

No, not necessary for weightloss.

I’m feeling stressed because I’m trying and not seeing the results I thought I would like so many of the success stories online. I got 60lbs to lose. I was doing good in the beginning and then all of a sudden it’s like it’s not working the last three weeks because I’m hungry

You are seeing results, you see that you lost 3"–that is stellar for 6 weeks! For women especially, the weightloss can be slow to start. Body recomposition is perhaps more important than a change on the scale.
Regarding your hunger, maybe increase your protein or fat. I understand your weightloss goal, but being hungry enough to make note of it on a forum sounds like it might be miserable? Something to consider and experiment. Stress can also hinder weightloss, and this is not something to stress about. The ketogenic way of eating and pathway to health is a long-term process, no need to stress. Keep calm and keto on

I agree that getting rid of artificial sweeteners (like in the Jello) might be beneficial for your goals and for overall health.

Your Chipotle order sounds fine.

Thanks for taking the time to respond to me. I will definitely cut of the jello to see if it makes a difference especially since I haven’t thought about the sugar free jello containing artificial sugar. Thanks!!
