Painful Bowel Movements

(Ashley) #1

Tried searching in the chat about Painful bowel movements. Most reconize a change in something their doing causing it. I cannot think of anything I’m doing differently. I make sure to get enough salt, potassium and magnesium citrate. I drink a lot of water. I do mostly zero carb. I’ve been doing zero carb more so about the last month. Haven’t had any issues until this week. Anyone else experience this? I know it’s not electrolytes.

I’m really sorry to hear that you are having problems.

Describe painful. I have my ideas but it may not be the same thing.

I’m sure it’s nothing serious or complicated. Let’s see if we can suss it out together.

Thank you, been trying to find something about painful, but haven’t found much other than less movements etc. I’ll keep searching thank you.

The definition of constipation is painful bowel movements. Those threads are very relevant.

Quick fix is 1/4 cup of EVOO or coconut oil, drink it fast and wait about half an hour. Smooth moves ahead.

If you have ibs-d, then the other fix magnesium won’t be too helpful for you, will just flip you to the other side. My DH made that mistake, never again will he do that.

All the best sorting it out.

Interesting, maybe that’s part of it since the magnesium I have been more on top of! Thank you I’ll try the coconut oil if it continues.
