Hey all! Keto strong since April. I’ve lost 27 lbs. Watching what I eat. Counting macros on my fitness pal. Some days i am under fat, always under carbs and protein I stay in my limit. I have a Keto Mojo and it read .4! All the other timed I’ve tested it’s been 1. something never higher. I’m not eating anything that isnt allowed on keto, hell im not even eating out! I have bullet proof coffees, just mct, have an occasional fat bomb made of cacao butter and coco oil. I honestly dont know what I am doing wrong! I haven’t been able to lose a pound in 2 weeks! I weight 243lbs and I calculated my macros to be fat 115g prot 69g carbs obvious under 20. Appreciate the help!
Out of Ketosis
I think almost everyone at some point will stall I wouldn’t worry about it look how far you have came already you are doing everything right just keep going !
Thank you. I am definitely not throwing in the towel, I’m just worried that I am doing something wrong without me noticing.
I have been fighting with the same few pounds bacon was pretty much an everyday thing for me until I happened to notice sugar in the ingredients I’m wondering if that could of been a factor I will go without it now to see my results. Sounds like with you tracking everything you should be right where you need to be with everything so I’m sure it will move soon you still may be losing inches as well and you know that fun time for women when we bloat that could be it as well .
Yeah, I’ve taken all that in as well. Im just gonna keep on going and wait to see.
See, now, your big mistake was in choosing not to be born male. (ducking the tomatoes!)
Seriously, however, weight loss is not generally as straightforward for women as for men, sorry. If it’s only been two weeks, you shouldn’t worry (even a guy shouldn’t), because there is probably other healing going on. Give it a while longer before starting to worry.
Women who have restricted calories for some time often discover that, on a ketogenic diet, their body often puts on lean muscle mass. Women have been known to gain muscle while burning off fat. This is a very good thing, and because muscle is denser than fat, you can add muscle and still be thinner. It does confuse the scale, however, which is why we advise not paying attention to the scale, but rather concentrating on what your dress size is doing. In fact, just give your scale to someone you don’t like, lol!
