One year ago, today

(Tom Seest) #1

One year ago from today, I learned I had heart failure. At the time, it was difficult to climb up stairs, walk up a slight incline or even ride my bicycle. It took 5 months of fasting, a Ketogenic diet, supplementation, sleeping, praying, and a beta blocker to reverse remodel my damaged heart. It’s been normal for about 7 months now:

I’m truly thankful that I understood how too chase ketones, as it was necessary for that time in my life…

I am too!

Tom, this is wonderful to hear! It’s not always easy to talk about health problems, but I’m thankful you were able to give us positive news, on this anniversary. God bless you.

Congratulations! I was diagnosed with idiopathic dilated cardiomyopathy 5.5 years ago. Started with very low ejection fraction. Started low carb 5 years ago, fasting about 3.5 years ago. EF normal. Lost 50+ pounds.
