On vacation eating off plan

Today flights from Minneapolis to Norfolk. 2 quest bars. Not worth it. Ick. Got me through the day though. Tonight in va beach, 2 sushi rolls and 3 beers. Wasn’t excited about any of it but it served its purpose. Tomorrow is when the craft beer search begins. Is it weird that I’m already looking forward to the fasting side of this feast when I get home on Sunday. Strange. :confused:

Nuh-uh- well, no stranger than me I suppose. I can’t wait to fast and get clear of the bullshit that goes into my body when traveling. Drinking the drinks & eating the eats on vacation is fun- but it’s never as fun as I think it’s going to be and getting back with the program is a huge relief.

Enjoy yourself. A few days of eating carbs is basically irrelevant. It’s the long term pattern that counts.

Back from Va Beach. Having a bpc and planning out the rest of the week. Had a great time, great food, and great beer. All those greats added up to 3.6 lbs over 4 days, most of which if not all will come off over the next week. Not really worried about it. The two highlights of the week were an amazing seafood pasta at Il giardinos and the scotchy scotch scotch ale at back bay brewery. Definitely “worth” every carb. Their coconut milk stout was fabulous as well. Time to get back on track and KCKO.
