On the road, eat or fast?

I seem to spend a ridiculous amount of time traveling these days! Nothing overnight but hours at a time in a car driving not as a passenger. Should I bring pre-made foods or simply call it a fast. I normally do 16/8 but my road time falls into the 8 hours I would eat my two meals.

I’m on work travel right now. I just fast. Easy

I wonder if I would do well with OMAD then.

I travel for work. 3nights away from home each week usually. I have got into the habit of fasting when away. It is actually so much easier. Saves time in morning and I can have a longer lie in. Then saves the stress about where to eat at night and fiddling with the menu. I sometimes have a coffee and a few nuts if difficult but generally try to go for salt and water.

And if they give you per diem, it’s free money.

Either is fine. It’s extremely simple to eat keto on the road. In fact, we have a whole group of people who do it as part of their lives. Being in a car would definitely make it extremely easy to be keto. If you did OMAD, that’d work too.

Not work related so no free money.

Yup. Indeed I can just bank the post tax per diem
