Unfortunately only the admin user can make them Admin | Customize | Emoji | type the name of the emoji and paste an image on the edit

At work I’ve made my own emoji to replace the standard :thumbsup: and :thinking: so that they are my thumb and my thinking face. Psychoanalyse that (or not). :laughing:
