So Regina, I know your a walnut kind of girl so are you going to keep eating them or change?:rofl:

Wow, Ron, you’re good. I was kinda shocked because walnuts are supposed to be the king of nuts. Ok, maybe not king. I like almonds, I may switch to those and macadamias. This all came about because I am now using chronometer, and was checking out my omega three and six targets for the day. Two tablespoons olive oil and two tablespoons walnuts get me all the omega 3s. Along with the sixes; some days when I had a different balance I come out ahead on omega 3s. I found it interesting that it was recommended not to increase the 3s simply to attempt to fix the ratio. Ron, I’m going along with the conventional wisdom thing, that nuts are good for you. If someone could convince me otherwise, I would just give them up. This article (and the forums) does point toward butter and coconut oil, etc., being the way to go. I am trying to get the most bang for my fat bucks. Any suggestions are welcome. I’m over the HWC as a go to fat.

Do you use a tracking app? Am I overthinking this?

I do track in Cronometer and don’t hit 1 / 2 ratio’s all the time either. I eat macadamia’s and have incorporated 2 cans of kippers a week to up my Omega 3’s.

That’s a no on the kippers. I’m am solely a shrimp person.
