Ok ok. Let's talk body pH

I have reason to believe my body pH is too low. Anything I can add to my diet to raise it? I already am drinking a shot of raw apple cider vinegar a day, a lemon water, eating a large salad for lunch, and keeping protein to roughly 25% on a 1700 daily cal intake.
I dont want to to be drinking/eating baking soda.
Any fermented foods ideas? Oh oh! Beet kvass maybe?! Please say yes. Oohhhhhh perhaps pickle juice?!

Too low you think, but the things you’ve mentioned will act to lower it…

Did you watch this by Dr Eric Berg? He discusses body pH, says most people are too alkaline.

What are you using to measure your pH?

(Solomom A) #5

What is your current ph reading? And what is the reference range? And do the acidic stuff you currently consume and want to add further depress your ph? What are the health implications if any?

Not measured. Just have a persistent sore throat and a mean, nasty desire for fermented foods and vinegars. And anything lemon. Health implications are damage to whole body from being too acidic. I will watch the video now! I’ve had kimchi, lemon water, vinegar, and yogurt so far. I just drank a wee bit of raw milk. My total carb count is waaaaaayyyyyy low. Just wondering if anyone had any super duper yummy suggestions that had nothing to do with baking soda, vinegar shots, or salad!

And what symptoms others have had while being too acid :grinning:

Eating acid / alkaline has no effect on your blood pH or stomach pH.

This explains it pretty well.

If you want to temporary alkaline your blood pH try use the Wim Hof method. It’s as easy as following along with a youtube of him showing someone.

I do breathing exercises almost every morning with my kid. We love them.
