Offset the bad days

#1

Only way I know how. Not sure how long you have to walk to fix this day

(Robert C) #2

Another way (that is much better on your joints long term) is to fast.

(Tyler) #3

Wow, the number of steps you took are mind blowing. Here I was thinking that the 4 mile walk I do every morning was good.

#4

Well the fasting ship has sailed. Maybe tomorrow!

Well, five extra grams of carbs is not great, but it’s not a catastrophe either. You can’t possibly exercise away the extra calories, but if you keep on eating right, your body will sort itself out. Exercise is great for promoting metabolic health, so don’t stop, if you enjoy it, but it doesn’t really cause weight loss. Several studies have shown that, alas!

Just forget it and get back on track. It won’t harm your long-term progress to have one crazy high day like that, I’ve done it several times.

(Allie) #7

I think maybe you misread @PaulL?
153.9g net carbs consumed with a 25g goal, but still, no harm done as a one off.

#8

That is 5 extra grams per hour in a 24 hour day.

Sadly the diet in PNG is not going to help

You got that right, Allie! Thanks for catching that. I suspect I was reading that line as kcal vs. g, rather than as actual vs. goal. A check of the fat line might have helped disabuse me.

Still, as you say, as a one-off it’s not the end of the world.
