Observation that others might learn from

I have been Keto and fat adapted for some time now, but with little progress in terms of reaching my body composition goals. Been living on 2000 kcal but overeating on protein.
Then I did the following: increased my daily calories to 3500 + and being very strict on protein (in grams!), 72 ish grams per day, 1 gram per kg of lean body mass, or a bit above due to having 12% body fat. Before I was eating 200 or something grams of protein.
Results: weight dropped a bit, six pack starting to appear and overall much more energy. I guess my body was underfed on fat and overfed on protein and in general underfed. In addition I took a break from working out totally and stopped IF and EF and eat when I feel like it. The transformation is significant. More calories and being very strict on protein = more weights loss, better definition, more energy, no cravings. Thank you Keto!
