Now that's a steak!

Look at this awesome Prime ribeye I got at Costco!! Expensive, but worth it:

Almost too good to cook. Make a nice Steak Tartare.

(Doug) #3

Wow, like a perfect storm…

You can’t eat that. It needs framing and putting on a wall somewhere.

Shame they trimmed so much fat :frowning:

Cutie pie though.

It’s like a beautiful marble bench, that you can eat, or eat off, whichever.

#7

Now that’s what I call marble

#8

I had to make this happen.

Bravo,Gaff!

If it only had a bone…why is so much sold boneless?

(Doug) #11

More a frisbee or giant hockey puck than a tomahawk?

:joy::joy::joy::joy::joy:

I’m not sure Costco sells steaks with bones. Everything seems to be boneless. What happened to T-bones?

It’s one of the reasons I don’t buy many steaks from Costco.

I can’t tell if this is what you did, but I buy ribeye roasts at Costco and cut them up into individual steaks. So much more economical that way! Usually their individual ribeye steaks are about 2 inches thick and HUGE. So I cut mine into more like 1 1/2 inches thick, and then I cut the steak in half because I still can’t eat that much meat at one sitting. So a ribeye roasts yields be about 24 steaks! Usually at $8.99/lb. I love Costco!!

Headed to Costco tomorrow… I’ll be looking for my own slice of heaven

Ohhhhh baby

We do the same - buy a loin, trim it the way we like it and then cut into uniform steaks. We love to buy our meat at Costco.
