So a few things have been going on this week. I stopped dairy on Sunday and I bought a new improved MCT oil that is pure C8. A few things have happened. I do feel a little better. I have a smidge more clarity, but the energy is not there. I’ve also acquired keto breath which I’m sure is because of the MCT oil. My skin also seems to be clearing up. I think I may be keto adapted at this point due to these changes because I am not hungry (which has not really happened to me and I’m 13 weeks in). My question is this… The past two days I’ve not be able to eat any more than around 800-1000 calories. I’m not counting, but this is my estimation. I’m worried I’m ruining my BMR by this and not sure how to keep it from happening.
Not sure what to do

Sounds like to me your in Ketosis and on the verge of fat adapted. All good things. The bad breath is a sign of ketosis. Probably not from the MCT oil. If your BMR slows, you can speed it back up…but listen to what your body is telling you! Eat when hungry and stop when your satisfied

Estimations can be way way off. Best to track and make sure if you’re worried, even if you only do it for a day or two to get an idea.
